Rami Gabriel’s second solo LP Tunderizer focuses the harsh experimentalism of post-punk industrial upon the intimate sphere of home. Like shadows crossing through mirrors, a mesh of lo-fi noise art and field recordings obscures expertly tuned songwriting. Tunderizer fires in all registers, from irrepressible melody to deconstructive static, from country to tarab, skronk to delta blues.
